AMERICAN PLAN

 

Under the American plan guests are served three home cooked meals a day. Dinner is served buffet style including a salad bar and is topped with one of Carol’s home made deserts. Guests may return to the lodge for lunch, have us make you a sack lunch to take with you or arrange for a traditional Northwood’s shore lunch.

 

After dinner you can watch the lodge television with satellite feed, check your email or sit around the bonfire outside and swap stories about the one that didn't get away.

 

All American Plan packages include an Ontario 8-day Conservation fishing license and cabins with a refrigerator,

linens, bathrooms with towels and daily maid service. When you choose American plan just bring your gear and clothes.

 

ACCOMMODATIONS AND FACILITIES

 

Young’s Wilderness Camp is located on a private five acre island and features eight lake view cabins nestled in towering pines and an air conditioned lodge. We offer both Housekeeping and American plan packages; fishing gear rental is available upon request.

 

FAMILIES AND PETS

 

Young’s Camp is family owned and family friendly. We encourage families to bring their children to share in the wilderness experience. Many of our guests stay with us to share with their children the same experiences they had when their parents brought them to a Northwood’s lodge.

 

As any owner knows, a dog is a family member. We welcome well behaved, socialized dogs and allow them to stay in your cabin with you.

 

HOUSEKEEPING CABINS

 

Housekeeping cabins include a refrigerator, stove and microwave, gas barbecue, cooking utensils, dishes, blankets, linens and towels. You bring your gear, clothing and food.
